I'd like to call this one...

I'd like to call this one, safety first.

Of course it summer time! And as I hope you all have had a great summer I also hope we've been able to keep safety first.

I can't speak for anyone else but I will say this... on a daily basis while driving I see dogs riding in the back seat. I also see the dog frantically or excitedly going back and forth, from side to side, window to window.

Being someone with a growing puppy who rides in the back all of the time it just seems like such a distraction or hazard...to say the least an accident waiting to happen.

When I first bought him home I stopped at the local pet store and picked up a doggy seat belt. It seems to have been the best investment thus far. With his level of excitement for the world and for me as his mommy I know it would be a matter of time before he was jumping into the passenger seat or even onto my lap!

It is inexpensive and allows the freedom to move around without as much of the worry. Starting off with just a few short drives at a time to ease any anxiety he may have had towards being in the car or on the roads.... he absolutely loves car rides and we are both safe at all times!
