Dogs, like people can become depressed. It is so important for us to be able recognize the warning signs and give our loved k-9 the best chance at optimal health and a happy life.

You may notice the dogs appetite decrease, he/she sleeping more often or loss of interest. Although these may be distinctive signs of depression it is always a safe bet to 1st check with your vet and cancel out potential of missing a deeper rooted medical issue.
